Look to Hamilton's new TerraTech® Black Rubber to transport super heavy loads safely in indoor or outdoor environments at speeds up to 10 mph. Though polyurethane can carry more load, rubber tread wheels are your best option if the application will be primarily outdoors. Rubber is much more tolerable of the sun's ultraviolet rays and moisture. Plus, the softer tread will cushion the load better than polyurethane as one traverses the rougher terrain of the great outdoors.
To support the high speeds and provide greater rollability, engineers equipped the new TerraTech® wheels with massive double-stacked maintenance-free precision ball bearings. The replaceable tire & steel rim are "pressed on" to a heavy duty 1045 steel core CNC-machined to tight tolerances.
