The heavy duty ESD electrostatic dissipating wheel is manufactured from premium high grade tread polyurethane bonded to a lightweight aluminum core with 6203 precision bearings.
The SIRIUS ESD wheel not only has ergonomic performance and heavy duty load capacity, but also has the capability to dissipate electric charges. The electrostatic dissipative material conducts electricity, and the ohmic resistance is equal to or greater than 10^5 ohms but less than 10^12 ohms. The material allows static electricity to flow through the caster wheel tread and release into conductive flooring, which is perfect for carts used within manufacturing plants or discharge-safe areas where electrostatic build up is an issue.
The ESD wheel polyurethane tread can reduce the force needed for movement and reduce vibrations during rolling, which provides a smooth, quiet and highly maneuverable performance. It can also deflect debris to help keep the wheel clean and decrease maintenance costs.
